A little "cookie" Alice

Hello to Everyone!

"Tick-tock, the girl is gone, can I come out and jump around? I think I can, I think I may, I have time to spare, a while."

"Oh no, oh no! I'm little again! Oh how? Oh my? How to I grow back to my regular size?"

"Oh no, its her! I must lose her, yes I must! Oh look at the time! I must go, I am late! Only a couple of hours to go!!!"

Well this project I am happy to show since its been taking at least a week to finish.  It has not been easy, but hard work always pays off.  And I am late! Only a couple of hours before one of the competitions I want to participate closes, so I must hurry and post.  Haha, I hope I make it.  But yes, here is my latest and up to date, the most difficult project I have done.

It's a cookie jar! I say it's a cookie jar cause originally it was a soda cracker tin can, and now look at the out come!  The images I am using are Alice and The Cheshire Cat from the Octopode Factory and Smokey from Smeared Ink. The tin is completely covered in black acrylic paint then covered in a crazy shaped red and white tiled wall which was hand made on paper.  The table it made from cardboard and a paper towl carton.  A little bottle is filled with colored papers on the inside, which makes up the water. The letters were cut on the Cricut from a shiny designer paper.  And the swirls where hand drawn with metallic sharpie pens.  I hope you all enjoy:

To get a better look at everything I took a video and uploaded it on youtube for a 360 degree view of the while tin, enjoy as well.

Fruit Cake Surprise

Hello to Everyone.

Me again today.  Its been a while since I posted once, twice in one day in a record for me... Still starting here you know.  But the Christmas spirit was really going strong this week and I couldn't stop myself from making another card.  You might think its a little similar to the last and thats because Carlos over here with the fruit cake (Yes, I named this one Carlos) is from the same set as Martin and Franchesca, the penguins from the last card.  All three are from Penguins: Presents and Pudding from Squiggle Stamps, like I said earlier, check 'em out.

This time I went for a more traditional Christmas theme, going with reds and white.  The card is simple red, blue, and white cardstock one on top of the other, using white cardstock as paper snowflakes punch outs.  If you look well enough you can notice the white snow drops around the blue cardstock, which was made with a white pen.  And a "Merry Christmas" sentiment on top.  Enjoy:

Happy Penguin Holidays

Hello to Everyone!

We wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a merry Christmas and a happy.... Wait, what? It's still summer? -.- I got excited for presents for nothing then... Haha, just kidding around. With a couple of competitions I had won or placed recently, I got some digis and decided to just color them, nothing big really.  Making a new project with paint my mom gave me an idea to make cards with some of the digis I had painted and here I am! I made two Christmas cards and can't wait to share both of them.  So keep on the look out for another Christmas card later today.  My cards are about PENGUINS! And yes, I decided to name them... Sorry if you find this crazy, but Martin and Franchesca are happy to be here. Hahaha.

For this card, I decided to use none traditional colors like: pinks, blues, greens and purples.  Adding some touches of red and green to let know it is a Christmas card, that and I had no clue what other colors I could paint a mistletoe without making it look like something else.  The image is Penguins: Presents and Pudding from Squiggle Stamps.  Check them out if you like it, they have a lot of nice digis.  It had designer paper (the pink one with snowflakes), paper snowflake punch outs covered in glitter, and a "Happy Holidays" Sentiment.  Its a pretty simple design, and I hope you enjoy it:
